The first 20 mintues of each routine is mostly cardio and commands to get the dogs focused and tired so you can concentrate on the strength training throughout the rest of the routine!
CARDIO TIP: SHUFFLE
WHEN THIS IS SHOUTED
If you hear "Freestyle!", take the opportunity to do whatever you'd like to do.
1. Stretch or warm up.
2. Make your workout harder - add exercises!
3. Just jog and listen to your music.
4. Practice more dog training.
5. Take a break!
GO AT YOUR OWN PACE
We do a lot of cardio in our program...it's good for you and it's great for your dog! This does NOT mean you have to keep up!
This program was created for one fitness level, so we suggest you go at your own pace. You may be wondering how...it's simple!
If we tell you to sprint, go ahead and jog, if we tell you to jog, go ahead and walk. You know your body best!
THE WAY OF THE BAND
The best way to handle your band is to rope it diagonal across your body from where your neck meets your shoulder, down to the opposite side of your body by your waist. Loop one handle through the other. The loose handle will be tucked in a pocket, in your actual pants or under your belt!
When the app says "BAND OFF": Take it off as it's time to work.
When the app says "BAND ON": put it back on according to the above.
If the app tells you to do another cardio and does not tell you to put the band back on...KEEP IT OFF as you will be using it again shortly!
